BMW 733i E23 for sale

Year: 1980
Transmission: Auto
Engine: 3.2L In-line 6 cylinder fuel injected
Rear wheel drive
Odometer: 595,000 km (reads 995,000, which is incorrect)

Car is in Canberra and has been out of rego for 6 months. It starts and runs fine but needs a new battery. Can provide battery and rego  

Other notes:
Needs new rear discs and brake pads.
Gearbox has been reconditioned < 15,000 km
Radiator was replaced two years ago due to deteriorating plastic tanks and hoses.
Interior and exterior are both in good condition, one or two small chips in the paint, no rust. 
Interior ash tray was overused by previous owner (9 years ago!) and had to be thrown out!
Still has original first aid kit and tools.
All tyres are in good condition and have been used for < 25,000 km.  

Reason for selling:  too expensive for a PhD student to keep running. I want it to go to someone who would do it up and care for it.

Historic RX3 cage and shell - eBay auction.

This is a brand new RX3 historic rally car shell and cage homologated to race in the Australian Historic Rally Championship and other general rally championships and events. The cage was welded by John Eddy former owner of Bryce Racing Developments with over 30 years rallying experience across Australia in both the modern and historic class.  

The car was intended for a full assault on the Australian Historic Rally Championship and has had several man hours to the tune of over $25,000 to mould this beautiful cage to the brand new RX3 shell together.  

Built by the best this is a steal of a deal for anyone wishing to participate in historic rallying in the strongest and safest chassis possible. Only serious offers please.

It is, I think, a 1957, model, but is not registered, as it was a retirement project and the owner has run out of puff (gone to a nursing home).
